Frequently Asked Questions

What is the current wait for an appointment?

The clinic is not accepting new clients at this time.

Are appointments in-person or online?

Appointments in Manitoba are conducted in-person or online, depending on the client's preferences. Appointments for clients in Ontario and British Columbia are conducted exclusively online. Online services are provided through OnCall Health, which assures security and privacy between healthcare providers and clients.

Are appointments available by phone?

Yes, telephone appointments are available for those preferring this.

Are services covered by Manitoba Health?

Private services are not covered by Manitoba Health, but many extended health benefit plans provide a degree of coverage annually for employees and their family members. An explanation of your benefits should include a description of clinical psychology services, and you may be required to obtain a referral from your primary physician. Fees may be covered for clients having open claims with insurers, including Manitoba Public Insurance and Workers Compensation of Manitoba, among others, depending on situation and province. For those without coverage fees are income tax deductable.

What type of treatment is provided?

I am experienced in a number of treatment approaches, but primarily rely on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
